Fought anti-2nd Amendment bills attaching our fundamental right to own firearms - No compromise!

Sanctuary state laws

Opposed sanctuary state laws that handcuff law enforcement and provide more government benefits to illegal immigrants than to American citizens

As a Republican State Representative in the minority in the State Legislature (2015-2022), I was successful in passing numerous bills, including bills to:

Increase Public Safety

Increase public safety (strengthen criminal laws on child pornography, retail business theft, aggravated child neglect, child sex trafficking, and domestic violence, among other crimes)

Protect Data Privacy

Enact the most stringent individual data privacy bill in the country

Wildfire Mitigation

Increase wildfire mitigation and strengthen regional and state-wide fire-fighting capabilities

Help Military Spouses

Reform occupational professional licensing to help military spouse members transitioning from active duty to work in Colorado
