She took a firm stand against sanctuary policies which obstruct cooperation with ICE and prevent the removal of criminals who are in this country illegally.

Terri was known for holding frequent town halls and listening to her constituents. I saw her in action, when we held a town hall together. We both just spoke briefly and spent most of the time listening to comments and responding to questions. Terri listened – and took action. Many of her bills came from town halls like this one.

During our time together in the State Legislature, Terri was a tireless, passionate fighter in committee and on the House floor against the Democrats’ bills that limited individual freedom and imposed their progressive, socialist agenda on our state.
Terri was not interested in grandstanding. She was widely regarded as one of the hardest working and most effective legislators in the Capitol—because she is!
Terri digs into the details of legislation, has a strategy to get good bills passed, and takes on the Democrats by forcing them to vote on amendments that put them in a corner. I can't state strongly enough my support for Terri Carver to be the next Senate District 9 State Senator. As the District Attorney, I am constantly doing battle in the legislature against the Democrats' ongoing attacks on public safety.

As a lawyer and as a person deeply committed to protecting our communities, Terri was always my 1# legislator to do battle against the Democrats’ “soft on crime” bills. Terri was the legislator the Colorado District Attorneys Council went to for bills to increase criminal penalties and hold criminals accountable.

We need Terri Carver back in the state legislature! We need her leadership, her knowledge, and her ability to fight effectively to help restore sanity back to our criminal justice system.
